Fairview Abstract Company History
Fairview Abstract was founded in 1918 when Mr. William Henry McCue, a banker in Kansas, was in Fairview, OK to inspect collateral for a loan. While in Fairview he was approached about buying a local abstract company. This decision was one that has marked generations of success. In the summer of 1918, Mr. William McCue moved his family from Kansas and took over ownership of the Fairview Abstract Company.
In 1946, his two sons, John W. McCue and Marcellus McCue, bought the business from their father to expand the operation.
To add another generation to the McCue family ownership, John W. McCue II, John W. McCue's son purchased Fairview Abstract Company on January 1, 1978 from his father and uncle.
Once again the business has now changed hands from father to son, when Todd P. McCue, John W. McCue II's son, purchased the abstract office January 1, 2006.
Fairview Abstract Company was the beginning of the McCue history in Fairview, Oklahoma. Clearly, each McCue generation has added a significant contribution to Fairview Abstract Company.
